iQoo has confirmed the launch date of its next smartphone, iQoo 12. It will come as a successor to the current iQoo 11 and will be announced next month. It has also been confirmed that the upcoming iQoo 12 will be available for sale via Amazon. It will be the first phone to come up with the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The company will launch two iQoo phones— iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro. However, the latter is highly unlikely to launch in India. Meanwhile, iQoo 12 is launching in India on December 12. It will run the latest Android 14-based Origin OS 4.0 out of the box.
The official teaser reveals the rear-camera design which corroborates with previous reports and leaked renders. Moreover, a BMW Motorsport special edition, similar to the iQ00 11 Legend will also be released. Following the official launch on December 12, it will be available exclusively on Amazon.
iQoo 12: what we know so far about the upcoming iQoo release
It is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display which has been made in collaboration with BOE. It will support up to 144Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 3,200nits.
Under the hood, iQoo 12 packs the latest and also becomes the first phone to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.
In terms of camera, the phone is said to feature a triple camera setup: a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary lens with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens. The powerhouse is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging support.
