As we look ahead to 2025, one of the most exciting rumours circulating around Apple’s new product lineup is the iPhone SE (2025). According to recent price leaks coming from Korea, the next-gen iPhone SE is expected to debut at $499 which is roughly INR 43,000.
The price leak comes just as Apple fans were beginning to wonder whether the SE model would see a significant price bump or if it would remain relatively affordable.
Rumours suggest the iPhone SE (2025) will feature Apple’s latest A18 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 48 MP primary camera, improvements that will bring it much closer in performance to the flagship iPhone models. The device will also sport a 6.06-inch OLED display, offering users a vibrant, high-quality screen experience, though it’s likely to feature a 60Hz refresh rate, unlike the higher refresh rates found in more expensive models like the iPhone 16 Pro.
One of the most exciting additions will be the inclusion of Face ID, as the iPhone SE (2025) is expected to adopt a design similar to the iPhone 14, complete with a notch for Face ID sensors. This will be a significant leap forward for the SE series, which previously lacked the facial recognition technology found in its more expensive counterparts.
While the SE may not have all the premium features of the iPhone 16, such as an ultrawide camera or a sleeker design, the price difference combined with these upgraded features makes the iPhone SE (2025) an appealing option for budget-conscious consumers who still want high-end performance.
