Slated to succeed the Pixel 9 series from last year, the Pixel 10 series completes 10 years of the Pixel lineup, thus marking a notable moment in the smartphone world. While rumours and leaks suggest Google might be sticking to a safe formula of not changing what’s not broke, there are ample upgrades to make these phones notable.

Pixel 10 price in India leaked ahead of launch
Based on a leak from Smartprix, it is suggested that Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone series will maintain the same pricing as its predecessor in India. The leak also reveals new storage options and a few other key specifications for the devices.
According to the leak, the base model Pixel 10 will now have 256GB of storage and will be priced at Rs 79,999. The Pixel 10 Pro will cost Rs 1,09,999, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL, which will be the Pro’s larger version, will be available for Rs 1,24,999.
The top-tier Pixel 10 Pro Fold will carry a hefty price tag of Rs 1,72,999. This pricing strategy aligns with the company’s approach in foreign markets, where the Pixel 10 is also expected to launch at a similar price point to the Pixel 9.
More storage for same price
One notable change for the Pixel 10 Pro XL is that it is rumoured to start with 256GB of storage, unlike its predecessor, which had a 128GB base model. This, along with a new dedicated telephoto camera, will add more value to the Pixel 10, especially at a time when Apple is rumoured to hike the price of the iPhone 17. The leak also suggests that the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have a new 1TB storage option, which will be a first for Pixel devices.
The report also provides details on the launch timeline for the new phones. The Pixel 10 series is expected to be officially unveiled at an event in the United States on August 20, with pre-orders in India starting the very next day, i.e., on August 21. Furthermore, Google Store subscribers in India, who have registered by a specified date, will be eligible for an exclusive offer when purchasing any of the new phones. This offer won’t be applicable on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
