US based game publisher Electronic Arts has officially announced that early access to the Battlefield 6 beta will kick off on August 7. This will be followed by two separate open beta windows, taking place from August 9 to 10 and again from August 14 to 17. During this time, Battlefield Labs testing will be put on hold, with plans to restart once player feedback from the beta sessions has been gathered.
Battlefield 6 release date
Battlefield 6 is scheduled to debut on October 10, 2025, across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X consoles. Prior to the full release, EA will organize two open beta sessions in August, offering gamers a first look at the multiplayer experience as mentioned above.
Battlefield 6 classic class-based system
Battlefield 6 will reintroduce the classic class-based system that was absent in Battlefield 2042. Gamers can choose from four unique roles—Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer—each equipped with specialized gear, exclusive weaponry, and tailored abilities to suit various combat strategies.
Battlefield 6 Map adjustments
Drawing from insights gathered in Labs, several changes have been made to map designs—objectives have been resized, cover zones improved, map edges fine-tuned, and turrets strategically relocated. Additionally, Domination mode now features a revive system, promoting more team-oriented and tactical gameplay.
Battlefield 6 Weapon performance
Weapon damage has been rebalanced across various guns to fine-tune time-to-kill and overall combat responsiveness. The loadout menu has also been overhauled, making it easier to understand each weapon’s advantages and its ideal combat role.
Battlefield 6 system requirements:
Gamers getting ready to run Battlefield 6 will need a minimum setup that includes an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and a GPU on par with the NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. The game takes up 75 GB of disk space and is compatible with 64-bit Windows 10 and DirectX 12. This configuration aims to deliver 1080p gameplay at 30 FPS on low graphics settings.
