Apple rolls out Final Cut Pro 11 with several new features; Full details

After much waiting, Apple has finally rolled out its Final Cut Pro 11 for Mac along with other new features. According to an official announcement, the technology giant has launched Final Cut Pro 11 for MAc and Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1. Here’s a more detailed insight on how the features are going to change your video editing experience. 

What’s in for you

With the latest product update lineup you will get the all new Final Cut Camera, Final Cut Pro for iPad, and Logic Pro.In addition to this you will also get  new tools such as Magnetic Mask, Transcribe to Captions. Also, the Final Cut Pro 11 for Mac can support the edit, import and delivery of spatial video projects directly to Apple Vision Pro.

So, what do these updates mean to you? With the Magnetic Mask editors can isolate people and objects in a video clip, that too without a green screen. Brownie point! No need for rotoscoping, which does the same thing but is more time consuming. Then comes the Transcribe to Captions feature. This feature allows users to create closed captions automatically generated in the timeline using an Apple’s in house large language model (LLMs). These LLMs can also transcript the spoken audio in the video

Next you have the Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1 with a Enhance Light and Colour feature. This can help to improve colour balance, colour, contrast, and brightness in video or still images in one step. This feature can also optimize the picture or video for  HDR, SDR, RAW, and Log-encoded media.

If you are an existing user, then you can get the Final Cut Pro 11 as a free update . If you are a new user you can get the update for $299.99 on the Mac App Store. New users can also download a 90-day free trial of Final Cut Pro. 

Furthermore, the Final Cut Pro for iPad 2.1 is available as a free update for existing users. For new users it is available on the App Store. The price range starts at $4.99 (U.S.) for per month, $49 (U.S.) for per year, with a one-month free trial for new users. Lastly, the Final Cut Camera 1.1 is available as a free app on the App Store.
