The much awaited update of Apple for iOS 18.2 is just around the corner. Most of us are waiting for the arrival of Apple intelligence which will come with this update. Notably, Apple intelligence Apple’s in-house artificial intelligence (AI). But did you know along with this a new feature will also be coming. Named as ‘image playground,’ powered by Apple intelligence will also be coming. So, what does this mean to you? Here’s the advanced features of ‘image playground’!
Image playground: What’s in for you
The Image Playground is part of the iOS 18.2 public beta. If you are enrolled in Apple’s beta software program, then you can access it. As of now, the official rollout is reportedly to come in December.
So, what is this ‘Image Playground’ feature? This feature is part of Apple Intelligence and can offer a range of AI-driven tools from Apple. The new feature can allow you to enter a text prompt which will then produce an image that has a cartoon style. For example, you type ‘create a cartoon of cat.’ The AI will take a prompt and create a cartoon style image of a cat. In addition to this you also get other art styles. This includes creating sketches or animated versions of anything.
You can also upload images of your pet or friends and family to add other fun elements such as emojis. You can also change the background and edit with different filters, among others.
Unlock our creativity with Image playground
You can find the Playground app on the Home Screen.The icon resembles a white cat or fox. Here’s how to use it:
- First click on the Playground app.
- After opening you will get a text input area where you can describe an image.
- Now, enter a prompt. After that you will get a ‘generate image’ option.
- Now click on that. This allows the AI to create a cartoon-like image for you.
Pro tip you also can access Image Playground through the dedicated image creation app. In addition to this you can also access this feature through the Messages app by clicking the plus (+) button. Please note that you can find the plus button on the left side of the text box.
