Apple Watch Series 10 is thinner and larger
Apple introduced the tenth version of Apple Watch marking its tenth anniversary with a major update. The Watch Series 10 features a 40 percent brighter, edge-to-edge OLED display, which is the largest ever seen on an Apple Watch. It includes health monitoring features, such as sleep apnea detection, which needs FDA approval and will be available in over 150 countries.
The watch comes with a new jet black glossy finish, rose gold, and silver aluminum, as well as a durable titanium casing in natural, gold, and gray. Sporting a thickness of 9.7 millimeters, it is 10 percent thinner than its predecessor and offers the fastest charging capability yet, reaching 80 percent charge in 30 minutes. Apple has expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the AirPods Series 4. The new AirPods come with updates such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and personalised spatial audio. The new AirPods 4 are priced at Rs 12,900, while the ANC-equipped model is available for Rs 17,900. Additionally, Apple has revamped the AirPods Max with a sleek new look and a much-requested switch to USB-C, a much-needed upgrade after a really long time. Priced at USD 549 (approximately Rs 45,000), the updated AirPods Max will be available starting September 20.
MagSafe charger gets power boost
Apple has introduced a new MagSafe charger designed specifically for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. It will come in 1m and 2m configurations. It supports faster charging speeds of up to 25W when used with a compatible 30W or higher charging brick. However, this speed boost is exclusive to the iPhone 16 models, older iPhones will still charge at a maximum of 15W. The new MagSafe charger is priced at $39 and $49 respectively, and is sold separately from the iPhone 16, which only includes a USB-C cable in the box.
