Amazon has come up with a new Kindle series of four new models. Among them the company boasts about the all new Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition. This is the first ever e-reader with a colour ink-display.
On October 16, in an official launch Amazon announced that it will be bringing an all new lineup of Kindle. Here’s a look at what’s in for you.
Introducing the new range of Kindle
So, the new lot includes an upgraded version of Kindle Scribe, Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, Kindle Paperwhite ever and a new entry Kindle in Matcha colour. Let’s have a detailed look at the brand new Kindle lineup. First you have the showstopper Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition. This is Amazon’s first Kindle to have a colourful ink display. Comic lovers get ready for a new reading experience. This Kindle has a nitride LED light display for bringing colour-coded highlights. The company said that this will give you an enhanced reading and experience. It promises you a paper-like reading but with a much better vibrant and colourful view. Priced at $279.99, the Colorsoft Signature Edition will start shipping on October 30.
Next you have the Kindle Scribe upgraded version. The updated version will give you a 10.2 inch display with a 300ppi resolution.The main star of the new version is the addition of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Now with AI you can summarize any text into bullets. You can also convert any handwritten notes into the digitally typed ones. You can get this at a price of $399.99.
Then you have Kindle Paperwhite with a 7-inch e-ink display. The display is enhanced by an oxide thin-film transistor. This could give you an improved text contrast and clarity. Also, in this model you can turn the pages 25 percent faster than the usual ones. It’s also waterproof. The standard edition starts at $159.99 with 16GB of storage, while the Signature Edition comes with 32GB and wireless charging, priced at $199.99. Lastly the company has brought a Kindle with a new Matcha colour.

Apart from the above mentioned Kindle it has also brought some updates in the existing entry level Kindle. This will get a faster page turning option compared to the early versions. The price starts at $109.99 with a storage of 16GB.
Furthermore, “Customers love Kindle and are reading on their devices more than ever—global sales last year hit their highest in a decade with the majority of purchases by first time Kindle device owners,” said Kevin Keith, Vice President of Amazon Devices, concluded.
