Who are Yashaswini Jindal and Shashvat Somany?
The only daughter of BJP MP Naveen Jindal and renowned Kuchipudi dancer Shallu Jindal, Yashaswini is set to tie the knot in a lavish affair. Born in March 1999, she completed her schooling in New Delhi and went on to study at Yale University. Earning a BS in Psychology and a Certificate in Advanced Language Study in Mandarin, she stayed connected to her roots in Kuchipudi. Business tycoon turned politician, the youngest Jindal brother is the chairman of Jindal Steel & Power. A Member of Parliament from Kurkshetra, he is also the founder-chancellor of the renowned OP Jindal University. According to this 2024 Lok Sabha affidavit, his total movable assets are estimated at Rs 1230 crore, with immovable assets at Rs 11 crore.
