Speaking about the event, Ratish Nanda, CEO, Aga Khan Trust for Culture, said, “We are delighted to host Bookaroo at Sunder Nursery and much look forward to welcoming thousands of young children to enjoy book readings and other festival performances amidst the monuments and wilderness of Sunder Nursery. The festival will be set within a children’s zone that includes the playhouse, peacock and butterfly habitat – which, like Bookaroo, is designed to ignite a child’s imagination.”

“We are pleased to be in such a gorgeous venue and couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our 15th year. Our sincere thanks to the nursery, our partners, publishers, arts councils, parents, children and all our speakers who have helped the Bookaroo movement – of making reading for pleasure fashionable – continue marching forward,” she added further.
Importantly, entry to different sessions in Bookaroo is on a first-come, first-seated basis.. For details related to tickets and parking facilities, visitors may log on to the official website of Sundar Nursery.
