Game of Thrones season 8: Winter has finally arrived in Westeros! So has the latest trailer of Game of Thrones’ from HBO. After nearly two years of wait, the fans of the fantasy series by HBO is finally getting glimpses of one of the widely watched TV series till date.
HBO released the recent trailer in all their social media handles with a caption, “The trailer is here.”
The trailer starts with a scared Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, running down a dark passage – hints at the threat of the White Walkers army that is looming large over everyone in Westeros. However, her confident voice plays in the background, “I know death. He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one,” but the confidence gets shattered by what is going on the screen.
Apart from obvious central characters, the trailer also offers glimpse Bran, Brienne of Tarth, Samwell Tarly and even Gendry! All gearing up for an upcoming war. “They are coming. Our enemy doesn’t tire, doesn’t stop, doesn’t feel,” in Jon Snow’s (Kit Harrington) voice in the background makes it all the more obvious.

But it does not end there!
The trailer ends with the Night King’s horse stopping, right before approaching Winterfell! This only intensifies the gloom that prevails throughout the trailer.
The video has been viewed nearly 21 million times since Tuesday on HBO’s official YouTube handle. The show is not just on the most watched TV series, it is also one of the most acclaimed and went on to win the best drama at the last Primetime Emmy Awards.
The latest and the last season of the Game of Thrones is scheduled to be released on April 14.
