Financial Express Online has learnt that Satinder Singh Bajwa has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer of MG Motor India. This is the first big ticket appointment after MG’s parent company, SAIC Motor and JSW Group announced a strategic joint venture. JSW now holds 35% in the Indian JV operations. SAIC will continue supporting the joint venture with advanced technology and products to deliver extraordinary mobility solutions with an unwavering focus on the Indian consumer.
Bajwa is an automotive Industry veteran with over two decades of experience in managing Sales & Marketing, Dealership Management and Key Account Management in automobile industry. He has had successful stint at other marquee auto OEMs including Mahindra & Mahindra, where his term ended in April 2023. He has managed large dealer partners on ground and spear-heading Sales & Marketing functions at the enterprise level for market leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India as well as setting up Sales & Marketing for Nissan Motor India.
