Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India recently inaugurated a new workspace in Chennai, to expand its current seating capacity for an additional 2000 people. The workspace was virtually inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru. MK Stalin.

Said to be located in the same premises as the company headquarters, the new workspace gives a modernised layout of 1.38 lakh sq ft with an overall seating capacity of over 2000 people in an agile way. The open floor plan, meeting rooms, work café for formal and informal collaboration is designed to break the traditional barriers for better productivity and work environment.
Debashis Neogi, Managing Director, Renault Nissan Tech said, “Our centre is becoming a global pole of competencies in key areas of simulation, after-sales engineering, software validation, AI, Cloud migration and more deep tech areas. Our focus is on attracting top talent, particularly in deep tech fields and to drive digital transformation for Renault and Nissan. Our new office space providing additional capacity for 2000 people is designed to foster agility and collaboration, providing a modern and dynamic environment that inspires innovation”.
The virtual ceremony took place on stage by the chief guest and the CM of Tamil Nadu, M.K Stalin and Akira Hanzawa, Senior Vice President of Nissan Engineering and Costing, and Eva James, Vice President of Global Service Delivery and Global Hub, at The Leela Palace, Chennai.
