Ralson Tyres has entered the Indian commercial tyre market. This move was announced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, marking the company’s expansion from its roots in bicycle tyres to broader automotive and commercial segments, according to an official press release.

In 2023, Ralson inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Indore with a capacity of 60,000 MTPA. The plant has been supplying tyres to international markets such as North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. Now, it will focus on meeting domestic demand for commercial tyres.

This expansion aligns with India’s “Make in India” initiative, which aims to position the country as a global tyre manufacturing hub. Tyres produced at the Indore facility are already being exported to over 50 countries, emphasizing India’s growing role in the global market.

India’s commercial tyre market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10% due to rising freight volumes, infrastructure development, and an increased demand for high-quality radial tyres.

Ralson’s commercial tyres are designed to deliver enhanced performance, durability, and fuel efficiency, catering to various sectors’ demands. The company’s nationwide network of sales and service offices will support its entry into the domestic market, the release mentioned.

With this strategic move, Ralson aims to establish itself as a key player in India’s growing commercial tyre sector.
