Shardeum, an autoscaling EVM-based blockchain, has announced the appointment of Chris Chabot as head of open source.
According to an official release, Chabot will collaborate with developers to spearhead the creation of new Web3.0 experiences, on a protocol known for its reported speed and cost-effective transactions. From what it’s understood, Chabot will play a part in fostering an environment within the Shardeum open-source community.
“We are looking forward to welcoming Chabot to our team at Shardeum. While Web3.0 has seemingly been growing, I think little progress has been made on open-source initiatives in the ecosystem. His experience and dedication to open-source values align with our mission. Chabot’s experience should elevate our efforts at fostering an open-source culture in Web3.0,” Nischal Shetty, co-founder, Shardeum, said.
