According to an official release, CoinDCX, a crypto exchange, announced that its Information Security Management System is now certified to meet the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, aligned with the recent 2022 version of ISO/IEC 27001.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an information security standard developed and maintained by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). ISO is an independent, non-governmental organization that develops “market-relevant international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
“Through this ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, CoinDCX reinforces its aim to safeguard user data and maintain impeccable security standards. These certifications can instill confidence in CoinDCX’s users and protect their personal information and assets from potential risks,” Neeraj Khandelwal, co-founder, Okto & CoinDCX, explained.
Furthermore, it is believed that CoinDCX will conduct yearly surveillance audits to ensure its continued alignment with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard sets a commendable industry precedent, highlighting the critical importance of prioritizing information security and data privacy.
