Even though 2017 is turning out to be a disastrous year for Bollywood, there is no doubt that we have come a long way in terms of technology, scripting or creativity. But, the bigger question is what made all of this possible? And, the answer is: Money. Or to give it a more acceptable term: Budget. The growth in production budgets has allowed Bollywood to take giant steps in the last one decade. This year Baahubali 2 was the most expensive film and the record is set to be broken with the release of Rajinikanth's 2.0. So, we decided to take a look at the most expensive films of every year in last one decade. 3. 2015 – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Suraj Barjatya is known for making big budget films with big star casts. He invested Rs 180 crore in Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo making it the most expensive film of 2015. Even though the movie was criticised by fans, it minted Rs 206 crore.
