In terms of box office day 1 earnings, Jolly LLB 2 is expected to rake in anywhere around Rs 12 crore. While the sum is impressive, it could have gone much higher if the film had seen a greater occupancy rate during the morning shows. (Twitter)

Shahrukh Khan had earned Rs 20.42 crore on Raees' first day, which is a little less than double of Jolly LLB 2's estimated earnings. Moreover, SRK had a disadvantage of getting a mid-week release on a Wednesday (January 25), but has managed to eclipse Akshay's film. (Twitter/ Bollywood Hungama)

Jolly LLB 2 trumps Kaabil's day 1 earnings, even if not by much. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer had earned Rs 10.43 crore on its first day. If box office predictions come true, Akshay will have a Rs 2 crore head-start on the revenge drama. (Twitter)

Going by these figures, Jolly LLB 2's lifetime earnings will also fall between those of Raees and Kaabil. Although in the opening day earnings, Jolly was closer to Kaabil, by the end of its run at the box office, it will be closer to Raees' lifetime figures. (Twitter)
