One of the most important movies ever to hit Indian screens is Rajinikanth starrer Kabali. But even though actress Radhika Apte was part and parcel of the movie, she still managed not to be involved in its many promotional activities. With box office history being created in front of her eyes now, Apte came face to face with the media and sought to explain it away. Radhika Apte, who played the crucial role of Rajinikanth's wife, at a presser today, apologised and said that it was 'unfortunate'. Radhika said she could not do the promos simply because she was doing another film of which she is a part of. Here is how Radhika replied, "I know, I am really sorry. Actually I am shooting for a film called 'Ghoul' and 'Kabali' release was decided suddenly and my shooting is so tight that every day I was trying to make phone calls and shoot (for promotions), but it's so unfortunate." Rajinkanth's Kabali box office collections are racing skyward day by day and reports have it that overall (worldwide) they may have even crossed the Rs 600 cr mark (it includes new foreign figures that were averred to by an industry analyst).
