BSF recruitment 2017 sports quota: The Border Security Force has announced 196 vacancies for the recruitment of Male/Female constables (GD) under sports quota at bsf.nic.in. Candidates who are interested must apply before 31st October. The BSF has invited applications from Meritorious Sportsperson for these posts. The total number of male vacancies are 135 while for female candidates it is 61. Under this recruitment drive, posts under discipline like Archery, Aquatic (Swimming, Diving and Water Polo), Basketball, Boxing, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Handball, Weightlifting and Kabaddi etc will be filled, as per the official notification. GATE Registration 2018: The online registration of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 will end today. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the form till 8 pm. Candidates can fill up the online application form that is available on appsgate.iitg.ac.in also known as the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website. This year, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is conducting the examination which will take place on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018. The last date for the registration was October 5, but after getting requests from aspirants, IIT Guwahati has to extend the registration date from October 5 to October 9. Therefore candidates must register by today as it will close later this evening.The candidates can check detailed notification at GATE’s official website. NITTTR Chandigarh vacancy: The National Institute of Technical Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, has announced over 30 vacancies under Group A, Group B and Group C posts at nitttrchd.ac.in. Under Group A, Chief Librarian, Sr Administrative Officer, Research Assistant posts are vacant while the posts under group B include Sr Library Information Assistant, Senior Production Assistant, Accounts Officer, Hindi Translator etc. In Group C category, Estate Assistant, Draftsman, Civil Engineering, Technicians posts are announced to be filled. OTET 2017 answer keys: The Board of Secondary Education Odisha has released the provisional answer keys for OTET 2017 at bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now visit the official website to download the answer keys. The board had conducted the examination on September 29 in different parts of the state. OTET 2017 examinations were held in 2 sessions– paper 1 in morning and paper 2 in the afternoon. Paper 1 carried a total of 150 marks and contained questions on child development and pedagogy, a regional language (Odia, Urdu, Hindi, Telugu or Bengali), English, mathematics and environmental studies. The Paper 2 also contained 150 marks question on subjects like — child development and pedagogy, a regional language and English — and an optional subject. KEAM 2017: The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has invited interested and eligible candidates to apply for its Bachelors in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programme at cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who are interested in applying for the same can do so by visiting the official website now. The ticker on the website says, “Applications are invited for B.Pharm Course under Lateral Entry Scheme…. Applicants can register from 04-10-2017 to 11-10-2017 5:00 PM…. Date of Examination: 22-10-2017.” For registration, the website instructs that- ‘ If you are a new user applying for B.Pharm Lateral Entry 2017, Please register here.
