IBPS RRB result 2017: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has declared the result of the 2017 preliminary recruitment exam of scale 1 officers in regional rural banks (RRBs). The results have been released on the official website. Candidates who gave the exam can check the official website ibps.in. The preliminary exam was conducted only for those candidates who applied for Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. The officer scale 1 preliminary exams were held on September 9, 10 and 16. While on September 17, September 23 and September 24, the exams for office assistant (multipurpose) were conducted. After clearing the preliminary round, the candidates can appear for further rounds which include the main exam, a written test and an interview in order to appear in the final selection list. CA CPT 2017: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will start accepting the application form for CA Common Proficiency Test (CPT) from tomorrow at icaiexam.icai.org. The ICAI will conduct the examination on December 17 at 191 centres across India and five centres abroad, according to the Indian Express. The official notification said, that the CA CPT 2017 will be held in two sessions. In the morning, the Fundamentals of accounting and Mercantile Law paper will be held while the General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude will start at 2 pm. To pass the examination candidates will have to attempt a minimum of 170 questions, as per IE report. (Website)

GATE Registration 2018: The application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 is all set to end tomorrow, i.e., October 5. Interested and eligible candidates who have still not registered for the same can do so now as only a day is left for the same. Candidates can fill up the online application form available on gate.iitg.ac.in also known as the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website. This year, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) is conducting the examination which will take place on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018. (Website)
IGNOU December 2017 term end examination: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on its official website released a notification regarding the December term end examinations 2017. The last date for accepting the examination form for December 2017 Term End Examination has been extended till 31st October 2017. The candidates can fill the application form without late fees before October 31 on the official website – ignou.ac.in. The fee for the exam is Rs 120 per course. After missing the deadline, the candidates can submit their exam form by November 15, 2017, with a late fee of Rs 1,000. (Website) -
LSAT 2018: If you are looking to get admission in one of the renowned law schools in India, you need to apply for the entrance test of LSAT (Law School Application Test). The application is available on the official website of Pearson VUE (pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia). Now, most of the law schools require to have LSAT-India for admission. Till date more than 80 colleges in India are affiliated with LSAT and five major colleges have 80 per cent seats reserved only for candidates who clear Law School Admission Test (LSAT-India).
