IGNOU Admission 2018: The entrance examination dates for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) programme have been announced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) at ignou.ac.in. The registration process for the same is slated to commence tomorrow. Candidates who wish to apply for the above-mentioned programmes can visit the official website of IGNOU and check out all the important details for the same. According to PTI, Prof. Kaustuva Barik, Director of Research Unit, IGNOU while talking about the admissions said that IGNOU has announced admission for Ph.D. and M.Phil. programmes of the university for July 2018 session in regular mode. -
Indian army SSC recruitment 2018: Applications for grant of Short Selection Commission (SSC) in all arms/services have been invited from eligible, interested unmarried males and female engineering graduates (also from widows of defence personnel). The Indian Army on its official website – joinindianarmy.nic.in – has invited the applicants to apply for the respective positions. The recruitment is being conducted for 51st SSC (Tech) men and 22nd SSC (Tech) women course, which will begin from October at OTA, Chennai. The duration of the training will be 49 weeks. A stipend of Rs 56,100 will be paid to the cadets during the training. There are total of 91 vacancies.

MHT CET 2018: The online application process for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) 2018 has started at dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Candidates who wish to apply for the same can visit the official website of the same to fill the application form. MHT CET is conducted every year in the state of Maharashtra for admission to various bachelor degree programmes in he field of Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture. The programees available for candidates to apply are Bachelor of Engineering/B.Tech and B.Pharm./ Pharm. D. and B. Sc.(Honours) /B. Tech programme in agriculture.

NEET 2018 UG syllabus: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has denied it made any changes which were speculated to have been carried out in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG syllabus 2018. CBSE organises NEET every year and there were rumors that state curriculums might be included in the syllabus for this year’s exam. However, declining the speculation, the board has announced on its official website- cbseneet.nic.in – that there will be no change in the examination syllabus this year.
UGC recruitment 2018: University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications for the post of full-time IT consultant for its National Academic Depository (NAD) cell on the contractual basis at ugc.ac.in. In a notice released by the commission has invited the candidates to apply for the post on or before the last date – February 5. There are a total of 14 vacancies available. NAD is an online store house of academic awards. The contract will be initially for a duration of six months and may be extended later on. -
