Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in Varanasi for the second consecutive day saw a massive crowd as the entire city was covered in saffron. PM Modi's roadshow began around 5:30 PM in the evening and the turnout was even more than Saturday. He landed at the Police Lines helipad and began his roadshow from Pandeypur Chauraha which ended at M.G. Kashi Vidyapeeth. He was welcomed to the town with the slogans of 'Modi-Modi' and 'Vande Matram'. The Prime Minister was surrounded by a huge crowd at Hukulganj which is a Muslim-dominated area. Prime Minister was campaigning for the 7th phase of assembly elections in UP while Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav conducted a roadshow in Chandoli. Congress vice-president also conducted a roadshow at Jaunpur. Polling will be done in Varanasi on 8th March for 40 seats. (PTI)
