World’s heaviest woman weighing 500kg from Egypt lands in Mumbai for surgery

She was brought to India by EgyptAir freight and was taken out from the cargo section. Before being brough to India she hadn't moved or left her home in the last 25 years!! Special arrangements were made for her ground and air transport in India and in Egypt. (PTI)

According to doctors, there is always a risk factor involved when transporting a patient like Eman weighing 500kg. Indian doctors Dr Aparna Govil and Dr Kamlesh Bohra travelled with Eman Ahmed to ensure that she was in a stable condition and comfortable throughout the journey to India, said Dr Muffazal Lakdawala who will be treating the heaviest lady on Earth.
