After a week of LeEco’s CEO Jia Yueting taking over as Coolpad’s Chairman, their joint venture, the LeEco Cool1 Dual Smartphone has been made available for pre-order on the Coolpad Website and will be up for sales on August 24, 2016. The smartphone has been launched in 3 different memory categories. The 3GB RAM model also boasts of a 32Gb internal storage and is priced at CNY 1,099, which roughly sums up to Rs. 11,100. Similarly, the 4B variant is priced at CNY 1,499(Rs. 15,100 approx.) and shares the same memory storage as the 3GB variant. The third variant is the finest one with a 4B RAM and the capacity of 64GB internal storage. It has been priced at CNY 1,699, which is approximately RS. 17,100 in Indian currency.
The highlight of the series is the two 13-MP rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection auto-focusing. The camera also has $K video recording, 720P slow motion, and dual tone LED flash. The LeEco Cool1 Dual supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports a 5.5 inch Full HD screen supporting 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. The variants also sport an 8MP front camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens and f/22 aperture.
The cool1 Dual is packed with a powerful 4060mAh battery with quick charging support. The dimensions of the phone measure at 152×74.8×8.2mm, and it weighs 167 grams. The phone can support a 4G connection with VoLTE. In matters of connectivity the phone has Wi-Fi 8802.1111 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. The phone is available in Gold, silver and Rose Gold.
