After Meta Ray-Ban, Xiaomi seems to be working on similar smart glasses. As highlighted by an IT report, Xiaomi is working on artificial intelligence (AI) powered smart glasses. In collaboration with Apple supplier Goertek, Xiaomi aims to bring these glasses. The company plans to make its entry in the smart glasses market. Xiaomi to bring AI-powered glasses
The Xiaomi sunglasses could use both AI and advanced hardware. You can use these glasses to search or capture images.This sunglass has been in discussions for a few months back. Now it plans to launch the glasses in China by Q2 2025.
Another report also suggests that the glasses will include audio components, AI-powered modules and camera. This is to compete with Meta’s latest high tech Ray-ban sunglasses.
Furthermore, Lei JunXiaomi CEO expects the company to ship over 300,000 units of the product after it gets launched in 2025. Other companies such as Baidu, Snap and Meta have also made an entry in the smart glasses market. Baidu unveiled the Xiaodu AI Glasses, its first smart glasses equipped with a 16-megapixel camera and a four-microphone array. Looks like Xiaomi also doesn’t want to stay behind.

In other news , Xiaomi had recently launched its flagship smartphones Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 pro. These brand new smartphones have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. You can also get longer battery life and advanced camera features. The Xiaomi 15 is available in white, black, green, lilac, and silver . You can also get a limited diamond edition.
Coming to the price range, the Xiaomi 15 starts at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs 52,994) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. If you are someone looking for personalisation customisation, then there is a version which offers you 40 colour. You can get these with a storage capacity of 16GB + 512GB. The cost of this model is priced at CNY 4,999 (around Rs 58,884).
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs 62,404). This has a storage configuration of 12GB + 256GB.
