In the highly busy midrange market, Vivo has stepped up its game with the V60 smartphone. The Vivo V60 succeeds the V50 from last year, bringing a couple of upgrades as well as a touch-up to the design to make it more appealing against the rising competition. -The variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage costs Rs 40,999.

– The top-end variant with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage costs Rs 45,999.

Vivo V60 key specifications and features at a glance

The Vivo V60 features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smoother 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, with Vivo promising up to four major Android updates and six years of security patches.

The camera setup is a highlight, featuring a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera system. You get a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For high-quality selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 50MP front camera. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of 4K video recording.

The V60 is equipped with a large 6,500mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. Additional features include an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security.

OnePlus Nord 5: Starting at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB ROM variant, this phone offers a powerful Snapdragon 8 series processor and a camera system with 50MP sensors on both the front and back.

Oppo Reno 14: The base 8GB RAM/256GB storage model of the Oppo Reno 14 is priced at Rs 37,999. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and a 50MP front and rear camera setup.

Realme GT 7 Pro: With its base variant (12GB RAM/256GB storage) starting at around Rs 49,999, the Realme GT 7 Pro provides a high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 50MP rear camera, and a 5800 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is another strong rival, with its 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant starting at around Rs 34,810. It features an Exynos 2400e processor and a triple rear camera system.

Vivo V50: Within its own brand, the V60 also competes with devices like the Vivo V50, which is priced at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.

Vivo X200 FE: Positioned as a slightly more premium option, the Vivo X200 FE starts at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset and is known for its compact form factor.
