Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is coming in September, suggests a report by the South Korean publication Chosun Daily. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone.
Following its South Korean launch, the Z Fold 6 Slim is expected to be introduced in the Chinese market at a later date. However, there are currently no plans for a global release, and other regions such as India, Singapore, the US, and the UK are likely to miss out on this device.
The Z Fold 6 Slim is expected to offer a slimmer and more portable design compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. It is also rumoured to feature upgraded specifications and features, such as a more powerful processor and improved cameras.
While Samsung has not officially confirmed these details, the report suggests that the Z Fold 6 Slim will be a highly anticipated device in South Korea and China. Possibly Samsung’s thinnest foldable phone yet, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is designed to be slimmer than its predecessor, with a thickness of just over 10mm compared to the 12.1mm of the regular Z Fold 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will have larger screens: a 6.5-inch display on the outside and an 8-inch screen inside, up from the previous 6.3-inch and 7.6-inch displays. It will come in black and is expected to cost around 2.8 million won. To make the phone thinner, Samsung has removed support for the S Pen, which means the phone won’t include the 0.3mm film needed for S Pen functionality. The company is working with its partners to make the display and camera components as compact as possible, aiming to shave off an additional 0.1mm from the phone’s thickness.
