Fresh insights into the soon-to-debut Galaxy Z Fold 6 have surfaced, offering a closer look at its anticipated design elements. The new set of detailed images, courtesy of @UniverseIce, showcases the device in a sleek silver hue, providing a visual comparison with its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Among the standout revelations is the device’s sleek and sophisticated appearance, characterised by a refined form factor and premium build quality. The phone is seen boasting a boxier design with flatter sides and sharper edges rendering a cleaner and more contemporary aesthetic compared to its predecessor.

Detailed images of the dummy unit confirms the presence of three rear cameras, along with a volume button and a fingerprint scanner positioned on the right-hand side of the device.

Furthermore, the leak offers insights into the device’s display configuration, hinting at an expansive screen area. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to boast wider outer and inner displays compared to its predecessors, enhancing usability and functionality.

According to a separate rumour report from SmartPrix, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with HD+ resolution, maintaining a 120Hz refresh rate, a 22:9 aspect ratio, and a resolution of 2,376 x 968 pixels.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found in its predecessor, and will be coupled with an Adreno GPU. Accompanying the chipset will be 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB, in addition to the 512GB variant.

In terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will measure 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm when folded, and 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm when unfolded. Notably, the device will weigh 239g, marking a reduction of 14 grams compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which weighed 253 grams.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to boast a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary rear camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Notably, the primary camera is rumoured to support 8K video recording at 30fps. On the front, the cover screen is expected to feature a 10MP selfie camera, while the main internal screen is speculated to house a 4MP sensor with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, resulting in an effective resolution of 16MP.
