Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime along with the introduction of Samsung Mall app was finally launched at an event in New Delhi. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will allow customers to use the Samsung Mall app to improve their shopping experience. Samsung has partnered Amazon, Jabong, ShopClues, and Tata Cliq to power its Samsung Mall app. The Samsung Mall app essentially brings all the product data from the partner sites into a single app. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime is the first smartphone to feature this service.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will be offered in two RAM and storage models – the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 14,990 and the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage model costs Rs 12,990 in India. The smartphone will be exclusively available starting January 20 via Amazon during the Amazon Great Indian sale. It will also be available to purchase from Samsung online store.

As for the offers, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime customers will get up to Rs 2,000 cashback in the JioMoney wallet on the recharges of Rs 299 per month for a period of 24 months. Payment made using Amazon Pay will give a cashback of 20 percent to your wallet. Additionally, there is also a ‘No-cost EMI’ option available to the customers on select credit and debit cards, wherein using the HDFC cards will offer 10 percent additional cashback.

Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime comes with mid-range specifications such as Exynos 7870 SoC, two RAM and storage models – 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB, and 13-megapixel front and rear cameras among others. The highlight of this smartphone is the new ‘Samsung Mall’ feature, which is, essentially, a shopping app from Samsung that has been designed for the partner Indian e-commerce websites – Amazon, Jabong, ShopClues, and Tata Cliq. According to Amazon listing, the Samsung Mall feature will work on the concept of ‘Shoot It. Shop It.’ that will let you simply click the photo of the item you wish to buy and Samsung’s Visual Search technology will search for the product across ‘multiple online shopping sites’. You can also select an existing photo from the gallery to search via Visual Search across different e-commerce platforms. The Samsung Mall will have a unified experience of all the e-commerce websites of India in a single app, which will let you browse products in multiple categories across all the shopping websites. You can further review all orders from across websites in a single cart.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will be powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 SoC coupled with two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB – which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime houses a 5.5-inch full-HD display and will come with 13-megapixel cameras with a f/1.9 aperture on both the front and rear sides. The rear camera unit is supported by an LED flash module. The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will come with Samsung Pay Mini support to enable cardless transactions across multiple offline stores.
