OnePlus is rolling out a new flavour to its midrange premium smartphone—the OnePlus 11R. Shenzhen-based consumer tech firm has confirmed via a press release on Tuesday that the company will launch the OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red in India on October 7.

OnePlus in a press release describes the newly-announced shade as, “Red isn’t merely a hue; it’s the pulse that quickens your heart when you hold a OnePlus device, a reminder to Never Settle for less than extraordinary.”

Speaking of the first look as per the teaser, it comes in a rich red hue wrapped in vegan leather material. The company claims that it gives a “comfortable grip” adding it “reimagines the classic sandstone like hand-feel.”

Moreover, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red comes with 18GB RAM and 512GB storage. Additionally, the company claims that the device is capable of running 50 apps at once, making it 6 per cent faster, while maintaining the same specs as the regular version.

OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red: Price, availability

OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red is anticipated to come with a slightly higher price tag than the base OnePlus 11R, which starts at Rs 39,999. OnePlus aims to offer a premium smartphone experience at more affordable price ranges with this new device, boasting 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

It will be available to buy starting Oct 7 at 12PM. The official microsite has a “Notify Me” button. Moreover, the company is offering free OnePlus products, though not mentioning anything in particular. Other than that, there will be a discount on screen protection plan as well as bank and No-cost EMI options.
