If the recently launched OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro are out of your budget, worry not, because soon you’ll have an even more affordable option. OnePlus will launch a new pair of budget-friendly truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds on September 17 in India. No prize for guessing—they will aptly be called the OnePlus Nord Buds 3.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3: First look
The Nord Buds 3, it seems, will boast a basic design scheme like the Nord Buds 3 Pro or at least that is what the official product listing page suggests. OnePlus is sticking to its vertically opening soap-shaped charging case design, the same look it also follows on the relatively more premium OnePlus Buds Pro 3. The product page confirms the Nord Buds 3 Pro will launch in two colours however, OnePlus hasn’t revealed the exact flavour.
The same is true about the core specs as well. But since they’re expected to be more affordable version of the Nord Buds 3 Pro, we can expect relatively toned-down hardware. The Nord Buds 3 Pro feature 12.4mm drivers and active noise cancellation. They are rated to deliver up to 44 hours of playback with the bundled case.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro are priced at Rs 3,299 in India. The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 could be priced lower, possibly less than Rs 3,000. Though it would be interesting to see the tradeoffs OnePlus makes to get to it. We’ll know soon enough.
OnePlus seems to be on a TWS launch spree lately. The Nord Buds 3 will be the third wireless earbuds it will launch in quick succession, the last being the Nord Buds 3 Pro and Buds Pro 3. The Buds Pro 3 are the most premium of the lot with a price tag of Rs 11,999. Stay tuned more details.
