OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Pad Go 2 launch LIVE updates: OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 in India, expanding its premium smartphone and tablet lineup. The OnePlus 15R arrives with upgraded performance, a refined design, and enhanced camera features, while the OnePlus Pad Go 2 targets users seeking a powerful yet affordable tablet with improved display, battery life, and productivity features. Both devices aim to strengthen OnePlus’s presence in India’s competitive mobile and tablet market.
OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 India Price:
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the OnePlus 15R price in India will start from anywhere between Rs 45,999 or Rs 46,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset will also come in a 12GB/512GB configuration that could cost Rs 51,999. Paras Guglani claims that these prices won’t include bank offers, that could offer a further Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 discount on the OnePlus 15R. The OnePlus 15R will come in Charcoal Black and Minty Green shades.
The OnePlus Pad Go began at a price of Rs 19,999 in India and one would assume a similar price range could be for its successor. This would also make sense given that OnePlus already sells a OnePlus Pad Lite for around Rs 15,000 and the OnePlus Pad 2 from last year sells around the Rs 30,000 mark.
OnePlus 15R Specifications:
Inside, the 15R is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset the same chip that OnePlus says it co-enginnered with Snapdragon. Since it gives good balance of speed and efficiency. The final RAM and storage options aren’t fully confirmed yet, but the chipset choice suggests performance close to flagship-level devices.
One of the major upgrades on the 15R is a big 7,400 mAh battery the largest ever in a OnePlus phone. This means longer battery life for day-long use without frequent charging. The phone is also expected to support 80 W fast wired charging, which should refresh the battery quickly when needed.
The OnePlus 15R will have a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, just like a premium flagship. This translates to smooth scrolling, fast animations and a better gaming experience. The panel is also said to reach up to 1,800 nits brightness, so outdoor viewing should be good. On the other hand, it can dim down to 1 nit for comfortable night use. Eye-comfort certification is expected too, which could help reduce strain during long usage.
On the rear, the 15R reportedly carries a dual-camera setup, with a 50 MP main lens and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. While the complete sensor details are not yet official, the phone is confirmed to support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. This is a capability that previously was reserved for high-end models. This makes video shooting smoother and more cinematic.
In terms of build, the 15R is expected to feature a sleek, flat-edged design with choices like Black and a new Green finish. It may also come with dust and water resistance certifications (IP66/IP68), so it should handle everyday wear and weather reasonably well.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 Specifications:
At its core, the tablet is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor, marking a noticeable upgrade over the Helio G99 found in the earlier model. Although hands-on performance will become clearer after launch, the newer chipset is expected to deliver faster everyday responsiveness, smoother multitasking, and improved performance in demanding applications. The Pad Go 2 ships with Android 16 layered with OxygenOS 16, and benchmark listings suggest it will be offered with up to 8GB of RAM.
On the display front, the Pad Go 2 sports a larger 12.1-inch panel with a higher 2800 × 1980 resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio, making it well suited for document work, web browsing, and multitasking in split-screen mode. OnePlus also claims a slim-bezel design with an 88.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, along with a peak brightness level of 900 nits when high-brightness mode is enabled.
Powering the device is a sizable 10,050mAh battery, paired with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Despite the charging speed being limited to 33W, OnePlus includes a 45W charger in the retail box. According to the company, the tablet can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback, around 53 hours of music listening, and standby time stretching up to 60 days on a single charge.
