OnePlus 15 is releasing on the 27th of October in China at 7:00 PM local time. OnePlus recently confirmed the launch date in a post on Chinese Social media platform Weibo. The Chinese smartphone maker had officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15 5G, is on the way. Alongside the flagship, OnePlus will also unveil the Ace 6, a performance-driven mobile that has only been teased so far. Both devices have already been listed on OnePlus’ official storefronts in China, where pre-reservations have gone live. While the company hasn’t shared all the details yet, some early leaks and reports have given us a good idea of what to expect from its design and features to expected pricing and release dates.

What is the Launch Timeline in India?

OnePlus 15 5G is launching on the 27th of October in China. After that, the India and global launch is expected in January 2026. This follows the usual pattern OnePlus has followed for its past flagship devices, where China gets the phone first before a global rollout.

OnePlus 15 India Price

The OnePlus 15 5G is expected to fall in the premium smartphone segment, with an estimated price between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 75,000 in India. This puts it in competition with top-end phones from brands like Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi.

Design and Build Quality

OnePlus has worked on improving both the look and durability of the phone, according to some reports. The OnePlus 15 will likely feature a metal frame with a micro-arc oxidation finish, which should make the phone more resistant to scratches and dents. A new “Sand Storm” color is also expected to be introduced.

The back panel may use fiberglass material, giving it a lightweight yet strong feel. The camera bump is said to be redesigned, and rumors suggest the return of a customizable shortcut button, known as the “Plus Key.

Processor and Cameras

The smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which promises top-level performance and speed. It may also include an advanced cooling system to help manage heat during gaming or heavy use.

Camera upgrades are also expected, with reports hinting at a triple 50-megapixel setup, including wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. OnePlus may drop the Hasselblad branding this time, replacing it with its own camera technology called DetailMax.

The OnePlus 15 5G looks set to be a device, with meaningful upgrades in design, performance, and camera features. While more details are expected soon, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2026.
