The Moto G64 5G has officially launched in India today, per schedule. The new Motorola phone takes on the Realme P1 5G with an optically stabilised 50-megapixel camera, a bigger 6,000mAh battery and more aggressive pricing.

The Moto G64 5G comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB at a price of Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. General availability is pegged for April 23 across Motorola online, Flipkart, and leading retail stores.

The Moto G64 5G has a body made of PMMA or acrylic glass with an IP52 rating. It comes in Ice Lilac, Pearl Blue, and Mint Green. Flip over to the front and you’ll find a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the Moto G64 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor and a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging (33W in-box charger). Running the show is Motorola’s My UX software based on Android 14. The phone is guaranteed to get one major OS (Android 15) and three years of security updates.
For photography, the Moto G64 5G has a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and another 8-megapixel ultra wide with autofocus so it can double as a macro camera. The front camera is a 16-megapixel.
The Motorola G64 5G has a headphone jack and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos playback. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and 14 5G bands. Biometrics are handled by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
