Motorola has officially announced the ThinkPhone 25, the latest addition to its ThinkPhone lineup designed specifically for business professionals. Building on the foundation of its predecessor, the ThinkPhone 25 sports a sleek, corporate-friendly design along with a host of upgraded specifications.
One of the standout features of the ThinkPhone 25 is its deep integration with Lenovo PCs and Motorola tablets. This synergy allows for seamless connectivity between devices, enabling functionalities such as automatic synchronisation, shared keyboard and mouse access, and centralised notifications. Additionally, the phone’s main camera can be utilised as a webcam, enhancing remote work capabilities for users who require high-quality video for virtual meetings.
Motorola is also catering to business IT departments with its Moto Device Manager, a tool that facilitates remote management of devices. This feature is especially valuable for organisations looking to maintain control over their mobile assets while ensuring compliance and security. In line with this focus on security, the ThinkPhone 25 offers robust protections, including malware and phishing detection and enhanced Wi-Fi security measures.
The ThinkPhone 25 boasts a 6.36-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1220p, complemented by a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. At its core, the device is powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
On the rear, the ThinkPhone 25 features a triple-camera system. The main camera is a 50MP lens utilising Sony’s LYTIA 700C sensor, equipped with optical image stabilisation (OIS). This is accompanied by a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The device is powered by a 4,310 mAh battery, supporting 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The ThinkPhone 25 is set to retail for €499/£450 and will be available starting in November.
In terms of software support, Motorola will offer five years of Android OS updates and security maintenance releases. The ThinkPhone 25 is designed to withstand the rigors of daily use in a corporate environment, featuring an aramid fiber back and a durable plastic frame. It boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, along with a MIL-STD 810H certification.
Available in a single Carbon Black colour, the ThinkPhone 25 aims to appeal to with its professional look and advanced technology that can enhance productivity.
