The smartphone company Motorola has introduced its Moto AI open beta program. It shared some glimpse of Motorola’s artificial intelligence (AI) powered features. As of now the open beta program is available to only selected Motorola devices. Let’s have a detailed look at what more it brings to you.
Introducing Moto AI
Amidst the rising use of artificial intelligence (AI) many smartphone companies are using AI on its devices to enhance their working. To contribute to the same, Motorola will also bring AI-powered features. Currently the open beta gives users access to a suite of artificial intelligence tools designed to simplify everyday tasks. This includes day-to-day tasks such as managing calls, messages and notes.
The top three features of the AI-powered beta program are ‘Catch Me Up,’ ‘Pay Attention,’ and ‘Remember This.’ Given below is a detailed explanation of what these features bring to the table!
- Catch me up: This feature makes notifications more manageable by providing summaries of calls and messages. This enables you to stay updated without the need to open each text and call individually.
- Pay Attention: Next you have the ‘Pay Attention,’ feature. This feature helps in audio recording and uses AI to transcribe and summarise conversations. The AI tracks the key points and highlights of any meeting, so that you don’t have to waste hours searching them.
- Remember This: This feature allows you to save and organise information from screenshots, notes, and photos. For example, it helps you get a context of any picture or any screenshots you had taken earlier or recently.
Please note that all saved content, along with the recordings from Pay Attention, will be stored in Motorola’s Journal app. This app is also powered by AI and helps to arrange and summarise every data for easier access.
The roadmap ahead
As of now the beta program is available for the Razr 50, Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, and Edge 50 Ultra smartphones. Users from different regions can opt-in for the beta program. Currently, the program supports Portuguese, English and Spanish languages.
Looking ahead, if you are participating in the beta program, then you can share your feedback with Motorola through the device’s quick settings panel. The aim for this feedback option is to help the company make improvements based on real-world use. Also if you want to exit the beta program, you can uninstall the Moto AI app.
