Reliance Jio launched its wireless broadband service – Jio AirFiber—on September 19, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Currently, Jio and Airtel, two of India’s leading telecom operators, have launched their own fixed wireless access (FWA) solutions powered by 5G.
Both the devices offer a wireless internet service that require no cable or wires. They are easy and quick to install. Jio AirFiber plans start at Rs 599 per month for a 6-month plan with speeds of up to 30Mbps. Airtel Xstream AirFiber has only one plan, which costs Rs 799 per month for a 6-month plan with speeds of up to 100Mbps.

Jio AirFiber has six plans. These plans are available in 6 and 12 months validity options. Jio AirFiber at Rs 599 + GST per month. It offers 30Mbps speed with unlimited data. The subscription includes OTT apps like Jio Cinema, Disney+Hotstar, SonyLIV, Zee5, Universal+, Lionsgate Play, Sun Nxt, Hoichoi, Discovery+, ShemarooMe, Alt Balaji, Eros Now, Epic On and DocuBay. The other plans are priced at Rs 899, Rs 1199, Rs 1499, Rs 2499 and Rs 3999.
Airtel offers only one plan priced at Rs 799 per month and is available in six-month validity period. It is a 100Mbps plan with a 3.3TB limit.

Jio AirFiber offers speeds of up to 1Gbps, while Airtel Xstream AirFiber offers speeds of up to 100Mbps. However, it is important to note that actual speeds may vary depending on your location and other factors.

Jio AirFiber is currently available in eight cities, while Airtel Xstream AirFiber is currently available in two cities. Jio plans to launch Jio AirFiber in more cities in the coming months.
