The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched the application process for the hiring of 320 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ positions in the disciplines of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. This recruitment drive is open to candidates who hold engineering degrees in the respective fields. These roles are categorized as Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts and fall under Advertisement No. ISRO:ICRB:02(EMC):2025. ISRO Scientist Engineer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants interested in these positions are required to possess a BE or B.Tech qualification in the relevant field. A minimum score of 65% or a CGPA of 6.84 on a 10-point scale is mandatory. The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years as of 16 June 2025. Nonetheless, age relaxations will be provided in accordance with prevailing Government norms for candidates belonging to categories such as Government employees, Ex-Servicemen, and individuals with Benchmark Disabilities. The final selection process will consider both the written examination and the interview, each contributing 50% to the overall assessment.

ISRO Scientist Engineer Recruitment 2025 Application Charges:
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 250. However, all candidates must first pay a processing charge of Rs 750. This amount will be refunded in full to candidates who are exempt from the application fee (such as women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen) upon appearing for the written exam. Other candidates will receive a partial refund of Rs 500 after taking the test.
