Honor X9b has officially launched in India today. HTech’s second Honor smartphone in India after Honor 90 makes a case for durability while offering a decent spec-sheet that includes a high-resolution 108-megapixel camera and big 5,800mAh battery.

The Honor X9b has an “ultra-bounce anti-drop” display that comes equipped with shock-absorbing material making it resistant to drops up to 1.5 metres. Honor is guaranteeing 360-degree protection for all six faces and four corners, even if it falls on hard surfaces like marble. The phone is further 5-star certified by SGS Switzerland for drop resistance.
HTech has also announced “Honor Protect”, a mobile protection plan in partnership with device-care provider OnsiteGo that bundles services worth Rs 2,999 with the Honor X9b including a one-time screen replacement within 6 months along with a 30-day assured buy back option up to 90 percent, completely free of charge.
Spec-wise, the Honor X9b has a 6.78-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to 1,200nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it has as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. Powering the phone is a 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging (there is non charger in the box but HTech will provide a complimentary 30W charger worth Rs 699 free of charge as an introductory offer).
Running the show is Android 13 based MagicOS 7.2. For photography, the Honor X9b has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 108MP main camera, paired to an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
Honor X9b launch: India price, availability
The Honor X9b 8GB/256GB variant price in India is set at Rs 25,999 with general availability pegged for February 16 (12 noon onwards) on Amazon. ICICI Bank card customers are eligible for Rs 3,000 instance discount. Additionally, a Rs 5,000 exchange bonus will be given on first sale day.
