Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), the highly awaited title from Rockstar Games, may not arrive as early as enthusiasts had hoped. Fresh details from a trusted source within the gaming industry hint at another possible delay, pushing the launch back by a few months. Initially slated for a May 2026 debut, the game is now rumored to be rescheduled for a potential release in September 2026.
GTA 6 expected India price:
Although Rockstar hasn’t revealed the official pricing for GTA 6, leaked reports suggest that the Standard Edition might carry a price tag of approximately Rs 5,999 in India. The Deluxe Edition is expected to be priced near Rs 7,299, while the Collector’s Edition could potentially cross the ₹10,000 threshold.
GTA 6 maps:
GTA 6 transports gamers to the vibrant, neon-lit streets of Vice City once again. Drawing inspiration from Miami, the game’s environment stretches beyond the bustling city to include rural zones that echo the swampy terrain of Florida’s famous Everglades. Though Rockstar Games has only released a short 90-second teaser for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title, that hasn’t deterred enthusiastic fans from dissecting each scene in search of clues about the game’s map and its connections to real-life locations.
GTA 6 characters:
Rockstar Games is bringing back the multiple protagonist format in GTA 6, a concept first seen in Grand Theft Auto V. This time around, players will step into the lives of two main characters: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia makes history as the series’ first female protagonist in the modern Rockstar lineup. The pair, who share a romantic relationship, are reportedly inspired by the notorious Depression-era criminals Bonnie and Clyde. Similar to the character-switching mechanic in GTA V, players can fluidly alternate between Jason and Lucia at any time by pressing the “Down” button on the D-Pad.
