Pixel 8 Pro boots to latest Android 14 and promises 7 years of OS upgrades—along with security patches and feature drops. Meanwhile, Apple iPhone 15 Pro boots to the recently released iOS 17 and generally iPhones promise 5 major iOS upgrades.

Pixel 8 Pro vs iPhone 15 Pro: Design and Display
Pixel 8 Pro boasts a bigger 6.7” Super Actua Display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Meanwhile, iPhone 15 Pro boasts a 6.1” OLED with the same 120Hz refresh rate support. Now, if you question which one looks more tempting? It’s highly subjective. I may have a bias for Pixel or you may love iPhone(s).
But, we’ll try to break it down for you: Google’s Pixel 8 Pro uses aluminium, while Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro opts for Titanium instead. Moreover, iPhone 15 Pro has a programmable button, whereas, the Pixel 8 Pro has a temperature sensor. And, last but not least, the iPhone 15 Pro has a bump where it houses the camera, but, the Pixel 8 Pro uses a camera band for a smoother look.

One thing that makes iPhone 15 Pro, more powerful than any smartphone is its latest 4nm Apple A17 Pro chip. It has turned out to be the first of its kind and defeats many available processors by a significant margin. The spotlight of the show at both Apple “Wonderlust” and Google’s “MadebyGoogle” event has been the cameras. Needless to say, the two major tech giants have invested heavily to advance the lenses and Google has walked an extra mile to integrate a bunch of AI features to further improve post-shoot works.
