Airtel has several data booster/add-on prepaid plans that you can look into, if you exhaust your existing plan data. These add-on plans help you stay connected. Options with both lump sum as well as unlimited data are available. So depending on your use case, you can opt for either and continue to access high-speed Internet. Do know that, this is 4G data, not 5G.
Airtel has a bunch of these data add-on plans. The cheapest one of them is priced under Rs 10. For Rs 9, Airtel is promising to give you “unlimited” data, though fair usage policy starts to apply post the usage of 10GB data. Your speed will come down to 64 Kbps. Still, 10GB of high-speed data for Rs 9 is a steal. The catch is that you’ll have only an hour to consume it. The 9 prepaid plan has a validity of 1 hour. All the other data add-on plans have a validity of 1 day at least.
The second most affordable plan in the line-up, which is the Rs 19 plan, has a validity of 1 day but it comes with only 1GB of data. There is another Rs 29 plan which also has a validity of 1 day buy comes with 2GB of data. The Rs 39 plan actually hits the sweet spot in terms of data and validity as it gets you unlimited data for 1 day. FUP applies post consumption of 20GB of data. For Rs 49, you get the same benefits with the addition of Wynk Music premium subscription.
Airtel has other data add-on plans as well— Rs 65 (validity same as your existing plan, 4GB data), Rs 79 (2-days validity, unlimited data), Rs 98 (validity same as your existing plan, 5GB data, and Wynk Music premium subscription), Rs 129 (validity same as your existing plan, 12GB data), Rs 148 (validity same as your existing plan, 15GB data, and 28-days free access to more than 20 OTT apps including Sony LIV and Lionsgate Play), Rs 149 (validity same as your existing plan, 1GB data, and 30-days free access to more than 20 OTT apps including Sony LIV and Lionsgate Play), Rs 181 (30 days validity, 1GB data per day), and Rs 301 (validity same as your existing plan, 50GB data, and Wynk Music premium subscription).
