The iQOO 13 coming to India on December 3 will be a bit different from the model sold in China, where the phone made its debut in late October as one of the first to sport the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The Indian iQOO 13 will be different from the Chinese variant in two ways. The first big difference is the choice of colours. iQOO is not bringing every colour variant to India. Secondly, buyers in India will also have to make do with a smaller battery.

iQOO 13 Indian variant differences

The iQOO 13 will be available in a choice of Nardo Gray and Legend Edition. Those familiar with iQOO’s workings will be at home with the Vivo spinoff’s partnership with BMW M Motorsport and the exclusive white colourway it entails for the Legend Edition models. The interesting point is that iQOO doesn’t charge you more for the collaboration. You pay the same as the other variants. New with the iQOO 13 is “Nardo Gray” which, too, has racing connections in that it is inspired from the racetrack of Italy, per a statement shared by iQOO.

In China, the same phone comes in four colours. In addition to Nardo Gray and Legend Edition, you can also get it in Track Black and Isle of Man Green. iQOO seems to be skipping those two, at least that’s the impression we have so far, we’ll let you know in case things change.

The other change is that the iQOO 13 India model has a smaller battery. While the model sold in China comes with a 6,150mAh battery, in India, the same phone will have a 6,000mAh battery. It’s a small change—at least on paper—but still something to keep in mind. The rest of the specifications are expected to remain unchanged.
