The M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025 has revealed a new generation of wealth creators reshaping India’s entrepreneurial map. From quick commerce to AI leaders, ten individuals who are 31 years old and below have made their presence among India’s richest, reflecting a shift towards youth spearheaded innovation.
At the top slot is Kaivalya Vohara (22), co-founder of Zepto, who has been declared as India’s youngest rich lister with a net worth of Rs 4,480 crore. His partner and fellow co-founder, Aadit Palicha (23), follows him close behind with Rs 5,380 crore. Together, the Stanford dropouts have created one of India’s fastest-growing start-ups, valued at over Rs 5.9 billion.
Youngest minds under-31s take the lead
Next in line are Rohan Gupta (26) of SG Finserve, with a net worth of Rs 1,149 crore, and Shashvat Nakrani (27) of BharatPe, who has a net worth of Rs 1,349 crore. From the cybersecurity field, Trishneet Arora (30), founder of TAC Security, has been chosen for the coveted list with a net worth of Rs 1,820 crore, further highlighting the expanding tech-based wealth.
Among the 31-year-olds is Aravind Srinivas, co-founder of Perplexity AI, with a noteworthy wealth of Rs 21,190 crore, making him one of India’s most globally influential tech entrepreneurs. Ritesh Agarwal (31), founder of the OYO (Prism), has a fortune of Rs 14,400 crore, registering his continuous dominance in India’s hospitality sector.
From solar, hospitality to AI
The list also includes Hardik Kothiya (31) of Rayzon Solar with Rs 3,970 crore, Aditya Kumar Halwasia (31) of Cupid with Rs 1,960 crore, and Harsha Reddy Ponguleti (31) of Raghava Constructions India with Rs 1,300 crore.
These names featured in the list represent India’s expanding entrepreneurial community, right from quick commerce, infrastructure, renewable energy, and fintech. According to the Hurun Research Institute, 66% of the list’s participants are self-made, with the average age of the new entrants declining sharply, highlighting India’s booming startup economy.
The 2025 edition recognises 1,687 individuals with a wealth of Rs 1,000 crore, featuring 358 billionaires, the highest ever recorded for India.
