Deepika Padukone has added yet another milestone to her global journey. The actor has been officially announced as a jury member for the LVMH Prize 2025. This adds another feather to her international fame. The announcement was made by the luxury conglomerate LVMH through its official Instagram handle, and it has generated a lot of buzz.

In an official statement, the brand shared, “DEEPIKA PADUKONE FOR LOUIS VUITTON: 2025 LVMH PRIZE JURY MEMBER. We’re thrilled to announce that the iconic Deepika Padukone will serve as a jury member for this year’s LVMH Prize final. Renowned for her captivating performances and influential global presence, Deepika continues to inspire audiences worldwide on the international stage.”

With this achievement, Deepika becomes the only Indian ever to be on the highly exclusive jury panel, placing her alongside some of the most influential figures in the global fashion industry.

Interestingly, just before the announcement, the actor was spotted at Mumbai airport, which looks like she was heading for the awards. Keeping her look effortlessly chic, she was seen in an oversized red knit sweater, paired with classic denim and tan ankle boots. She greeted the paps before heading inside the terminal.

According to Fashion Network, the LVMH Prize jury for 2025 features an illustrious lineup of twelve prominent members from across the fashion spectrum. Alongside Sarah Burton, the panel includes eight renowned creative leaders around the world – Jonathan Anderson, Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton Women, Marc Jacobs, Nigo of Kenzo, Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and Pharrell Williams, the creative director for Louis Vuitton Men.

The jury also features influential executives such as Delphine Arnault, CEO of Christian Dior Couture and founder of the LVMH Prize, Jean-Paul Claverie, advisor to Bernard Arnault and director of corporate philanthropy, and Sidney Toledano, CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group. However, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Kim Jones are notably absent from this year’s edition after their respective departures from Dior and Fendi’s creative leadership.

The LVMH Prize 2025 final will take place on September 3 at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, where the jury will select a winner from the eight shortlisted finalists: Alainpaul, All-In, Francesco Murano, Soshiotsuki, Steve O Smith, Tolu Coker, Torisheju, and Zomer.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential platforms for emerging talent, the LVMH Prize has played a big role in giving a platform to several young designers on the global fashion map.
