Ankiti Bose, the former CEO of Zilingo, has recently initiated legal action in the Bombay High Court against Dhruv Kapoor and Aadi Vaidya, alleging defamation and the dissemination of misleading information against her. This development follows an FIR previously filed against them.
“Kapoor and Vaidya are accused of spreading false information through PR agencies, damaging Bose’s reputation and distorting public discourse with unfounded claims,” stated Monika Tanna, an advocate from Singhania and Co, representing Bose.
Earlier, Bose had filed a complaint leading to an FIR against Zilingo co-founder Dhruv Kapoor and former COO Aadi Vaidya, alleging cheating, criminal intimidation, conspiracy, and harassment. Her dismissal from Zilingo in May 2022, amidst allegations of financial misconduct, prompted these legal actions.
Kapoor and Vaidya have vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as ‘baseless, untrue, and malicious’.
