A transformative initiative, Ola Electric launched its ‘Savings Wala Scooter’ campaign, aiming to make electric vehicles more accessible to every household in India. As part of this initiative, the company plans to expand its sales and service network to 4000 by December 25.

Ola Electric Mobility: The ‘Savings Wala Scooter’ initiative

Adding to its existing network, Ola Electric is opening over 3,200 new stores, to bring its affordable, high-quality EVs closer to consumers across metros, Tier-2, and Tier-3 towns. These stores, which will also include service facilities, will provide sales and after-sales support to customers, helping drive the “Savings Wala Scooter” revolution for a billion Indians.

The “Savings Wala Scooter” campaign reflects Ola Electric’s goal of making electric mobility accessible to all, through a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, overcoming adoption barriers and providing relief from rising petrol prices and the high costs of owning ICE vehicles. This will help India shift away from traditional petrol vehicles.

Ola Electric’s fast-growing network is supported by its innovative range of products, including the new Gig and S1 Z scooters, offering durable, reliable, and flexible solutions for both personal and commercial use. Starting at an affordable price of Rs.39,999, with options designed for rural, semi-urban, and urban markets. Additionally, Ola’s S1 portfolio and upcoming Roadster series cater to a wide variety of customers in the EV market.

This landmark expansion reinforces Ola Electric’s mission to lead India in EV adoption and strengthen the ‘End ICE Age movement’.

Ola Electric Mobility specialises in the integration of technology and manufacturing for EVs and their components, including battery cells, with the Ola Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu, producing EVs and key components. This is supported by Ola’s Battery Innovation Centre (BIC) in Bengaluru, focused on advancing battery technology. Ola’s R&D spans India, the UK, and the US, aiming to develop innovative EV products and components.
