Dio is the most stylish scooter in the HMSI stable. Featuring a dynamic design with lively colour combinations, Dio is targeted towards the youth in the country. The 109.2cc engine is the same as the one in Activa 3G, however, there are very slight differences in power and torque figures. The engine in Dio produces 8 BHP at 8,000 RPM and 9 Nm @ 4750 rpm. Activa 3G, on the other hand, produces the same power at 7,500 RPM and marginally higher torque of 8.83 NM. Similar to Activa 3G, the Dio resides on an underbone chassis, 10-inch wheels, spring-loaded suspension, tubeless tyres and CBS.

  • Honda Dio Braking and Safety

    Stopping power is provided by drum brakes, however, Dio comes with Combines Brake System which enables both front and rear brakes to function when only the rear brake is applied giving the vehicle more stability under braking. Also, both tyres are of tubeless variety making them more resistant to punctures as they do not deflate instantly in case a nail gets in. This increases the safety aspect further.
