  • Honda Navi Design and Build

    Honda Navi

The design of Navi is inspired by the Honda Grom motorcycle which is sold internationally in the European and US markets. It’s like a miniature motorcycle with small dimensions giving it a very fun-to-ride appeal. The build quality and the overall fit-n-finish of parts is fantastic and of typical Honda standards worldwide. The middle part where the engine usually resides in a motorcycle is empty and meant for a storage box sold separately. Yet, the Navi manages not to look out of proportions without the box. The unique design gives it a good road presence.

  • Honda Navi Riding Ergonomics

    Honda Navi

Like on a typical commuter motorcycle or a scooter, the rider sits completely upright on the Navi as well in a comfortable position. Since the dimensions are small, the handlebar is within easy reach and the foot-pegs are a little bit ahead for easy commuting. The front telescopic forks do their job nicely in providing a decent ride quality along with the spring loaded rear shocker.

  • Honda Navi Engine

    Honda Navi

Navi is powered by a reliable 109.19cc 4-stroke engine which is capable of producing 8 BHP of power at 7,000 RPM and 8.96 NM of torque at 5,500 RPM. Equipped with HET (Honda Eco Technology), the engine ensures optimal fuel efficiency without sacrificing the expected performance. It is smooth, long-lasting and remains stress-free at all operating speeds.

  • Honda Navi Transmission

    Honda Navi

Navi is a gearless motorcycle which means there are no manual gears and no clutch. The gearless system is termed Variomatic and is simply operated by twisting the throttle. Since there is no clutch, the lever on the left side of the handlebar operates the rear brake while the one on the right side controls the front brake as usual.

  • Honda Navi Braking and Safety

While there’s no option of a front disc brake, Navi is equipped with 130mm drum brakes at both ends to do the braking duty. They work fine for Navi’s weight and performance but it would have been nice to have the CBS mechanism as well. Also, both tyres are of tubeless variety making them more resistant to punctures as they do not deflate instantly in case a nail gets in. This increases the safety aspect further.

  • Honda Navi Mileage

Navi is capable of providing one of the fuel efficient rides in its class thanks to the HET technology. Real world mileage is well above 60 kmpl.
